Transformers Animated Episode 05 Official Discussion
Transformers Animated airs on YTV Saturday at 9:30am, with episode 05, Unfortunately we are not sure what episode is airing, because Cartoon Network in the U.S. skipped the real episode 05 "Total Meltdown" and aired episode 06 "Blast From The Past", and YTV for some reason does not give out episode info, So check it out and let us know what episode aired.
This thread is here to discuss this episode only, please save the toy and future episode discussion for another thread.
To those that have already seen it, please refrain from posting spoilers until the airing, for the people that have not seen it yet.

Re: Transformers Animated Episode 05 Official Discussion
Not bad episode, I am reminded of when the first few Beast Wars episodes also focused on the other smaller/younger yellow bot which needs no naming.

Re: Transformers Animated Episode 05 Official Discussion
I really did not like this epsiode. It seemed to much like a rip-off of JL or Batman, the U.S. didn't miss much.

Re: Transformers Animated Episode 05 Official Discussion
Isn't it a bit stupid to start threads about episodes that you can't even really discuss? If you haven't seen the episode and you don't like spoilers, why on earth would you go read a thread about it?
Is Meltdown going to be Lockdown later in the series? They're similarly shaped...

Re: Transformers Animated Episode 05 Official Discussion
Since I missed last weeks I'll discuss this puppy, I found it to be thoroughly enjoyable. It's no better or worse then Optimus Prime Vs. Lord Chumley of Season Two fame and if I can stand episodes like that then I can certainly find some enjoyment in episodes of Animated like this.
You might like it better when this series is released on DVD and you don't have to watch it as a stand alone.
I really dig the theme song to this series too it really screams classic Transformers Theme from the original G1 and is more faithful of an update music wise then the Cybertron version was.

Re: Transformers Animated Episode 05 Official Discussion
It was an ok episode, as a stand alone. The stupid PVR cut off the ending, so I'm hoping I only missed the generic here is the lesson we all learned today group thing. Hopefully we see some more of the Decepticons sometime soon.
I do wonder if the introduction of the biotech might lead into a story with Blackarachnia at some point. Just a thought there.
