Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
I have the Hong Kong ACG-con Metroplex. Got it through BBTS. The only difference is the mini figures are gold and silver instead of red and purple. I haven't opened it yet, but I plan on doing so as soon as I get some reprolabels for it. I prefer to keep my factory packed labels unused and in mint condition.
I keep on reading about how other people are finding cheap Metroplexs at Costco and whatnot but I just love the chrome, mini figures and spare gun. Even the box itself is amazing because it shows off the figure in it's fully assembled form. There's no detached arm shoehorned into the box which will also make it easier to pack away back into the box if I wish. All of these are worth the extra money this guy cost.
My only complaint was that the box itself was actually pretty banged up. The shipping box it came in was in better condition than the figure's own box.
Also, I couldn't see myself spending money on the Canadian version of Metroplex. My biggest beef is that it's voicebox doesn't say all the phrases it's supposed to. It feels like they took the toy out of it's packaging, purposely broke it and now they're trying to sell the broken toy back to you. Sorry, but no, I just can't do it.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it! Hopefully they do Victory Leo too. There's no way it would just be a reissue in a shiny new box, right?

It is in the MP line so I assume it will be an all new design/engineering. Mind you I don't have the original Star Saber/Victory Leo so I also wouldn't mind hunting that down too. I only have the Robot Masters versions reserving that spot right now...still probably my favorite out of that line - it's one of he few RM figures I kept.
Also interesting that Armada Prime came in second. While the choice of Star Saber doesn't surprise me due to the popularity of Victory in Japan, I didn't realize that Armada/Micron Saga was that popular there.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
Yeah they are pretty sweet, I just got RM Star Saber for my birthday to go with my Victory Leo and I've been transforming/combining them daily ever since. They're already cool with what limited articulation they have so I'd love to see them with an MP level of detail and poseability. I just hope he's not too big and expensive. If it's comparable to MP-10 (maybe taller considering the 'trailer' combination), I'd be happy.

I can't wait! This MP should take all priority, and I wonder if Hasbro will release one? =p (remember Universe Big Convoy)
