I haven't seen or heard anything about that. I think that would have been too smart a move for the retailers to actually make  but I guess it depends on their objective. Make shelf space or move certain figures?
you would think they would want to sell the most figures regardless

TRU will most likely pricematch as long as you have a flyer. Not sure what the Zellers flyer says, if it just says voyager then maybe you can get animated ones if you're lucky. If it shows a picture of the movie voyager boxes then maybe not...
Zellers will probably let you match it, their policies aren't as strict I think.

Tried to pricematch at Coquitlam/Lougheed Hwy TRU this morning on the argument that there were no movie-type boxes. The different box type indicated to them it's a different line and so no can do

hmmmm I noticed that on the back of some movie scouts they have a nice pic of the figure and the tech specs while others just show pics of the figures in the wave????
I think the version that focusses on the specific figure (big pic and tech specs) is better IMHO. 
I also noticed the real gear robots I picked up across the border have the same treatment. All the RGR i picked up around here have the generic card backs.

Yeah.. the one with the tech specs in the back are the American ones... We have the international packaging with the tech specs on the back of instructions..
