Re: Transformers score cd: WTF?

Although they maybe asking up to $120, you could always get it for $79.99 instead...

Re: Transformers score cd: WTF?

I heard about this last week on TFW. I can't believe a six month old CD is sooo expensive now. It was a limited release, like most scores are. To top that off most Canadian retailers did not carry it in store (so don't feel too left out Quebec ) Some places like HMV would import it for you, but they charged like $39.99 from the day it came out. I pre ordered mine off ebay for $13 shipped back in October.

I really love the CD and it is amazing, but being able to buy it from itunes for like $15, I can't really justify the CD being worth $100. Also way back when it came out I think Sony said they may release a two disc score eventually if the single sells well, so maybe that might still happen.

Re: Transformers score cd: WTF?

$100? Geez, looks like I won't be getting the soundtrack after all. Sucks that more retailers didn't carry it, since in practically every store I asked at they said they had a lot of people requesting it. Was there anyone that actually did find it in store, and if so where?

I never buy albums on iTunes, just rarities and b-sides. I always want the physical album to play at home or in the car.

I'm like that too man. I can try calling some music shops here in Ottawa for you if you like and see if I can find anything for you.

Re: Transformers score cd: WTF?

If you buy on iTunes you can then burn (legally, through iTunes itself) CDs of the soundtrack - one for your car, one for your house. As long as they are for your own use I believe that's within the legalities of it all.

$16 on iTunes Canada
+ ? cents for a blank CD

Unless people are after the case art of the actual CD or something...? As a collectible?

Can't stand cd-rs... Once they're scratched, you're screwed... I prefer more durable official cds with all the original artwork and stuff.

same here, that's probably why i have 600 cds, and maybe three are burnt, and they're demos you can't buy
