It would be nifty to have a panel with John Barber and James Roberts now that I think about it.

Re: TFcon 2014 Guest Request thread

Here's hoping TFcon Toronto can match the awesomeness of the G1 voice actors Botcon is having this year. And definitely can't be out-done by, of all things, a general comic con in Texas this June!!

With the 30th anniversary of the TFs this year, I'm sure the pressure's on. Wishing you the best of luck, organizers.

Another couple great G1 voice actors to consider:

Susan Blu (Arcee)
Charles Adler (Silverbolt)

Re: TFcon 2014 Guest Request thread

I think it should be stipulated that Peter Cullen and Frank Welker are always at the top of the list. It should go without saying that we want them to come.

I'd throw my vote for any G1 VA who hasn't come yet.

To be honest, I'm really not that enthused by this years guests so far. Not that they're not quality guests; they just hold no attraction for ME personally.
MR Chalk has come, what, 3 times now? I have nothing really left for him to sign! I'd have to bring my DIC series GIJoe dvd's to have anything he hasn't signed yet; and I just plain don't really care about the others. Aaron Archer is cool and an awesome get, I just have no interest in meeting him or hearing him speak.

The special guests are usually the determining factor when deciding whether to come or not. I'm almost considering not coming this year.

It's too bad Alan Oppenheimer won't be at TFCon. I have a SHIT TON of stuff for him to sign! Too much to pay $20 a pop for.

Re: TFcon 2014 Guest Request thread

It's not like I have anything against the VA's from the other generations, it's just that most of the remaining G1 VA's are older and may not be around much longer. So I figure we should take the opportunity to get as many of them as we can.

Re: TFcon 2014 Guest Request thread

I have four questions regarding autographs at TFcon, maybe someone can help answer, please:

1. How many items can a fan ask the guest to sign?

2. Can a fan ask the guest to write something specific (i.e. a quote from their animated character), or is there a strict rule of just the signature (for the purpose of moving the line quicker)?

3. From what I remember, TFcon has always had guests sign stuff for free, which is way cool. Is that the case again for this year with all the guests? What about taking a photo with them?

4. Is it true that Alan Oppenheimer will be charging for autographs at the 80's Toy Expo? A previous poster above mentioned something about $20.

Thanks!
