The Star Trek "REAL FAN'S" ;) Thread
Making its debut in 1966 Star Trek is often cited as being one of the most influential’s show of time and is no stranger to polarizing opinions. Given that we have derailed the Star Wars thread more times then a 5 year old playing with a train set, it only seamed natural to create a thread devoted to the stating of opinions an conversely the Bashing of them.
So take the helm, get your lens flairs ready and engage.
To get this going I’ll start:
Rank the movies:

hmmm interesting I would go

First Contact
JJ Trek
Into Darkness
Voyage Home
Generations
Nemesis
Search for Spock
Insurrection
The Final Frontier
The Motion Picture
the last 3 are hard to watch imo

Don't forget to add the new movies

DS9's first 3 seasons were as "plain and light" as TNG's first 3. Once it got going, it was like a 4-year story arc that got bigger and bigger...plus a few dark episodes that really hit home.
But then again, I feel the same way about Voyager.

Fixed. Oh you mean "The Layman's Trek" and its sequel "The Wrath of Khan Tribute Band"?
To be completely honest I probably wouldn't qualify as a REAL fan since I haven't seen even close to everything. But based what I have seen, these two are tops for me:
-First Contact (a much better time travel Trek than JJ's
-Undiscovered Country
I did try giving both Voyager and Enterprise a fair shot early on but eventually gave up on both.

Troi: And have you noticed how your boobs have started to firm up?
Crusher: Not that we care about such things in this day and age.
Troi: Uh-huh
I liked Insurrection because it was trying to be lighthearted like The Voyage Home.

I`ve heard that DS9 was a slow burn. If they start playing it on Space I will certainlly pick it up again.
Voyager was simply a fun ride throughout. The ending was a bit messed up considering though.
