Looks darker for sure. The trailer doesn't show much other than the origin, but so far it looks better than the last batch of SP movies.

I like that it's a different approach, and Gwen Stacy needs more big screen love, so I'm can dig it. The costume though looks just a smidge silly. Still, excited to see a new appraoch on the character. Never really loved the Raimi trilogy, so a fresh start is fine by me. Besides, Marvel has more than one active universe with Spidey tales in it, so I don't see why a rebooted movie franchise can't just be considered another Marvel Universe's Spidey getting the big screen treatment. I read the core Marvel line as well as the Ultimate universe and like them both equally, so I'm open to a brand new film apporach as well.

I liked Sam Raimi's Spiderman a lot and this just isn't cutting it with me.
I don't like the costume or the fact they chose The Lizard for the first movie. i'm however only really intrigued by Peter's Parents...always did want to know whatever happened to them.
I just feel Spiderman is becoming to much like Batman. I mean like both superheroes but come on Spidey has to be a fun wisecracker webslinger.
