In Theatre Transformers Promotion Ideas (need help)

I like the idea of inviting cosplayers if there are any in the area. Midnight screening would be good for that.

Barring that some kind of cross-promotion with a local toy store is good.

That's nothing. I got the sudden urge to get some plywood and paint and then scale up that cardstock model of Teletran-1 to human scale.

I won't actually do it though. I've got the time, just don't have the space, or the tools. Or cash for a crapload of plywood and paint.

Cross-promotion is always a good idea. For example, team up with a toy store, such that buying a ticket gets you a discount off of a toy or vice versa.

Richmond Hill/Markham area (im not trying to be secretive here, just dont want to announce anything until my ideas are solid)

But yeah..thats something along the lines i was thinking but i am not sure i can have vendors selling items inside a theatre.

Discount thing is a good idea..like..10% off TRUs or something when you purchase i ticket

holy cow thank you thank you for your many ideas and input. but wow honestly..the idea with the pyramid with boxes sounds bloody amazing.. i would never have thought of that (and i have watched the trailers a thousand times over with shots of the pyramid).

The toys on display is a wonderful idea, but i just dont want to risk using my toys haha (chances of theft).

Prime and Bumblebee helmets sounds pretty good, but just not sure how head office would feel about wearing masks.

Budget wise honestly have no clue yet, ill attempt to find out tmr. And obviously i would want to keep the costs as low as possible from a business stand point. My location recently just ran a UP! promotion that cost us around $200-$300.

Once again thank you for your input, i will try and figure something out fast since im running out of time lol..theres only like 2 weeks left until it open in theatres and the point of the promotion is to have it and raise awareness before the movie comes out. Sorry if your ideas may not come true in real life but i really do hope i can pull something off FAST lol.

Thanks for the input guys, im still trying to figure things out. Once again if you refer back to my previous post..budget wise i have no clue yet.

Advance screening, i thought of that already, but i am just trying to think of an idea like what Shan suggested. Watch private screening for free? i love that idea but i just cant do it lol.. ill get fired so fast..lol..looking for ways to benefit the company in business and create a good opportunity to raise awareness for regular customers and GTA transfans.

Thank you thank you all so far with your creative ideas. I look forward to see responses until i map something out. If i do manage to pull something off i will annouce on this forum and obviously i hope some of the forum members around the area can come check it out as well. Keeping my fingers crossed.
