I've been frequenting that store since I picked up my N64 preorder there back in '96. Hopefully they open a new store in Surrey (maybe in the old Best Buy). I'm not keen to drive all the way to Coquitlam every time new stuff comes out.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

Who here has Generations Selects Star Convoy? I just got one for a surprisingly good deal and I'm trying to figure out why. He came with 2 sets of subtly different instructions, is this normal? There was also an extra strip of Hasbro-branded tape on the outer package but only on one side. I'm wondering if this could potentially be a KO or if there was some reason they supplied 2 different instruction sheets. From what I can tell the figure looks like proper HasTak quality plastic and tampos. The chrome has a couple small flaws but nothing glaring. The inner Convoy figure has loose hip ball joints that pop off easily but based on the crappy quality of POTP Optimus, this seems normal lol. So, QC reject, KO or completely normal legitimate figure? I'm just so surprised I got it for a reasonable price this late in the game.

How good was said deal? I've seen him go for as low as 3500 yen (about $45) before shipping - to my knowledge there are no known KOs or 4th party versions of Star Convoy. Sounds to me like you're describing a Hasbro Pulse copy (the Hasbro-branded tape).

$65 USD before shipping so not an extreme deal based on the original price at Hasbro Pulse but still surprising considering how long it's been since it was released. Didn't realize they sometimes sell for that low though, I guess I may be over-estimating how sought-after the figure is. I'm pretty happy with it and feel like it was a decent deal. Thanks for the input!

Looking forward to Super Megatron now.

I've got an extra Rotorstorm available for $35, meetup in East Van or along Canada Line mornings or weekends.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

Anyone with a spare Siege Ultra Magnus MISB available? I can't find one with the latest TRU sale--they seem to be OOS everywhere.

Can anyone help?
