Chances of Metroplex in Canadian Costcos?

I just spoke with Costco.ca customer service and was told Metroplex would be on their website probably by tomorrow morning (Fri).

She said it'd be $107... which is higher than in-store (compared to reports of $89.99 in B.C.) due to higher costs for some online listings (huh?).

Anyway, this may be a decent price (certainly better than TRU retail) for those who don't have it in Costco stores (like in Winnipeg where it doesn't seem to be found right now).

no kidding, it's so lame. Watch out for their 'up to' 20% off sales as well. They're getting lamer.

I can confirm Metroplex was $89.99 in store, bought him here in Edmonton. Sucks the online price will be higher.

Does the 30 day price protection policy that costco have apply to online purchases too?

order it online for $107 then go to a store that actually has it in stock for $89 and have the difference refunded.

Correct me if I am wrong but my understanding is in order to price match at Costco, the item in question must be in stock and you must have your original receipt. So if your reason to order online is to guarantee you get a Metroplex, then price matching will not work if your local Costco does not have stock. Of course, stock and price (especially when on clearance) vary by location.
