Re: Costco Exclusive Battle Ops Bumblebee Released in Canada

I haven't had a chance to really look him over, just from outside the plastic box because it's a Christmas gift, and I probably shouldn't have even done that, but my curiosity got the better of me when the Purolator man delivered it.

What are your guys' thoughts on the toy?

I'm on the fence with this one. This 'Bee intrigues me but there is only one on-line video review for the Costco version which is more of a rant than anything.

I know there are numerous reviews on the regular Battle Ops version (including Pascal's excellent indepth review from these boards) but I wanted at least another opinion on this golden beauty before I order.

Re: Costco Exclusive Battle Ops Bumblebee Released in Canada

Costco ships quickly! I don't have a Costco membership so I couldn't just walk into one, so I ordered one off their website. Shipping was free and the non-member surcharge was only $2. I ordered one on Tuesday night and got him today. I didn't open him up yet but he looks pretty good. I did take out the chrome Legends Bee and he is indeed very shiny.

Basically, if you guys want the figure but can't find him or something else, get him off Costco's site as the price difference is very small and still cheaper than general retail.

Re: Costco Exclusive Battle Ops Bumblebee Released in Canada

5 business days to ship Big Goldie 'Bee to B.C.

Ridiculous amount of packaging...the clear plastic box and remnants screams "5 litres of oil!", however the MISB collector will not be disappointed.

'Bee is big n' shiny indeed. Car mode is spot on, but not all tires spin freely because of underbelly kibble. Robot mode is uncanny...a little too chesty thanks to the battery compartment

Articulation and size reminds me of G1 Jetfire. Big, ratchety and limited. Play value is tremendous thanks to the light and sound gimmicks.

Despite the "Limited Edition Metallic Finish" I'd say this guy is more for the kids than the collector, but I still love my Big Costco 'Bee nonetheless.

Dammit.. thats what I get for being on the fence... Anybody wanna sell their golden Legends BB? That came with this set, right?\

Oh well, I never needed another one of those Bumblebee's, even though it was shiny and gold.
