Yeah. Of all of them, this book was a real page turner, there were just so many mysteries and they all seem lead to the same place. I think the concluding story will work better on film than in the book. Except for the final act the last book was flat out boring.

I like the return of Quidditch too. I know it would have felt out of place in the last movie, but it was such an important part of that last book it was a shame to lose it. The scene here was great, but in the book it was interwoven with the overall plot, rather than just a side scene.

So has book #7 come out yet? And is it truly the final book?

Yes and maybe.

It just came out on Soft Cover so it is cheaper.

And as for being the final book...there may still be some spin offs, but the story should be finished...

Re: Harry Potter 6 Thoughts...

I read somewhere about a year ago that the author has it somewhere in her contract (or whatever it is) that no spin-offs can ever be written. I guess this is to protect against another author writing about Potter.

I also read that she wrote the Epilogue at the end of #7 to ensure this.

The only other books that exist to my knowledge that are "official" are two small ones:

- "Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them"
- "Quidditch Through The Ages"

Re: Harry Potter 6 Thoughts...

I thoght the movie was good for a movie, but hated that the movie esd not like the book especially the ending were the frak was the battle for Hogwarts?
Harry also seemed to get that memory from Slughorn rather quick, and Hermoine did not show that much emotion to ron in the book. other than that it was a decent movie and I am glad i saw it online and didn't wast $25 to go see it in theatres,

Those were different twins. The Patil twins were in the credits with the regular actresses that play them. I missed them though I'm thinking they go the same treatment as Neville. But that actor is really TALL so it's hard to miss him even if he doesn't speak.

I can't help it, whenever I hear Harry say, but I am the Chosen One I'm reminded of Mortal Kombat when Liu Kang said almost the exact same thing before killin Shang Tsung.

It just makes that scene doubly funny for me.

Missed the first half hour at the drive-in, didn't care. Was way too long, with way too many "stand around looking pensive" shots.
