Will the wave 4 list get bigger and will there be a wave 5?

I'm getting two Moonracer and two Novastar for limbs for Elita-1. Wish there were more fembots for her, but since there aren't, doubles will do.

POTP ends at wave 4. The only other toys coming out are boxsets and exclusives.

For POTP Voyager Starcream I am using Dreadwind for an arm, 2 CW BlastOff Jets for legs
and when BlackWing comes out he'll be another arm.
For Elita-1 she'll have 2 Moonracers and 2 Novastars for limbs.
For Inferno he'll have Jazz and CW Sunstreaker, Prowl and Mirage for his limbs.
Thankfully I have extra CW limbs to fill in the gaps.

I mean for TF fans like us, that seems like a horrible compromise on our parts

Inferno is going to stand out like a sore thumb.

Combiner Wars Cyclonus never received limbs. Neither did one of the Primes. Nor did retail Scattorshot. I agree it's lame, but it's not really a surprise.

HOWEVER

They are doing the Wreck-Gar and shuttle Blast-Off releases as exclusives for POTP. That does give Elita-1 four Autobots and three Cons for Starscream.

Depending on if you got the extra limbs for CW (ie Groove, Quickslinger, Brake-Neck), you also may have some extra limbs lying around. Throw Off-Road onto Starscream.

So there is that.

It's goofy though.

I haven't seen it, but apparently the art for Elita-1's combined mode has a black version of Jazz as a leg. I'd been hoping that would turn out to be an actual figure, such as Stepper or even Decepticon Crasher/Fracture.

I have 3 of the POTP DInobots
I have Dreadwind

But I refuse to get Jazz (poor quality) and I refuse to get POTP StarScream. StarScream would never combine with a lesser bot imo. Just feels wrong to me.

Yeah the ratio of Voyager bodies to deluxe limbs with POTP doesn’t really make sense but some of these figures I never pictured as Combiners anyways. If you really want complete Combiners you can always use Combiner Wars limbs like Rook, Alpha Bravo & Off Road, and now we have a choice of shuttle or jet Blast off. Also you can hunt down limbs from box sets. I have limbs on Combiners from G2 Aerialbots and Combaticons sets and even one from a Grand Galvatron set that board members were parting out. There are also TFCC and Botcon limbs but they’re fairly expensive right now.
