There's also speculation about an MP-09 Rodimus Prime reissue later this year. But other than that, we only have rumors about MP Trailbreaker/Hoist in the G1 line.

They should just "2.0" that mold like Megatron.

I have to agree. I picked the Black version up cheap recently, and I understand the endless loathing the figure receives.

Given what they know now versus back than, it is time to correct that mold. No way am I plunking down hard-earned cash for that hot mess,when there are perfectly good alternatives or other figures I can get for the same money.

Me too! I am waiting for the preorder to appear on amiami or anime-export. Also for Beast War Megatron (won't be cheap if we go by how much Dinobot is) and anime finished G1 Megatron.

I love the new head sculpt, I just with they came with a regular yellow version you can swap with the original. The Red version will probably sport the new head and probably a convention exclusive ala Tigertrax and Blue Bluestreak.

Do I like it and will I buy it? yes but can't say i'm excited. I think it would take a new g1 mold to truly get me excited. I also like 29+ and 36+ but part of me is pissed that they didn't do that purple for shockwave the first time around

MP-29+ is cool but I am not paying double for what I paid for MP-29. It's also interesting at Takara is calling MP-29+ "Anime Colour" in Japanese media but many English websites are calling it "Toy Colour". Honestly Shochwave's colour in the G1 cartoon are so inconsistent anyway.

G1 toyish Megatron is weird...maybe it's the helmet. I'd like to see a black repaint though.

Yes, we are due for a new mold announcement - not only repaints. I would love to hear about Hound, Mirage or Jazz. But my money would be on Galvatron, with the rumours about Rodimus prime being released. Let's see...
