Ugh...I had three sellers from Taiwan specifically turn into scammers, one was actually a good seller and a few of the guys on the forum bought from him successfully before. I am unsure if its from Taiwan specific sellers, but I think many of them are getting hacked in Taiwan and or mainland China. Who is this seller who was hacked/ripped u off?

The 2nd from Japan, lost? They almost always have tracking...did he send u a number? Canada Post is shite tracking intl parcels for many countries..I've never lost anything from Japan and use SAL often. If you paid with Visa or another Credit Card, if they cannot prove they sent it to you, meaning no proof of tracking, you can almost always claim back the funds through a "chargeback". Ask for Visa's resolution department and speak with them. If you have other questions private message me and I'll try to help. I import stuff from all over the world, even some very exotic places and only ever lost money from a Russian seller the 1st time as I didnt know about chargebacks. Mods...if you think a chargeback forum might be useful maybe we can set one up.

You just have to make sure there wasnt an agreement saying the seller has no responsibility, but even then Visa might help. If it shows it went to your place with tracking and u denied it or lost it in your hands after receipt, it becomes a different matter. As well, when you chargeback it should be done after the seller pretty much says they will not help and wont take responsibility and there is no resolution from communicating with them..it destroys relationships so use chargebacks only as a last resort. Its all about fairness, Visa International rules...part of your protection. Paypal has it as well, works great with ebay scammers as Paypal can see the ebay details, communications and full sale and sellers as well.

I recently had that experience with 2 separate China sellers.

This thread on TFW is actually a good one to keep an eye on as people update whether or not a particular ebay seller is good or has since turned into scams/disappeared, etc. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/thread...check.1064426/
