Cyclonus, Scourge and the Sweeps
I know we get it a lot that Thundercracker, Starscream, Skywarp, and co.. are part of the Seekers sub group (if you want to be less specific Jet planes for some) and we have the Rainmakers and the Coneheads, that's what a lot of people call them (Dirge, Thurst, Ramjet). But what about Cyclonus, Scourge and the Sweeps can they be considered as Seekers/Jets as well? I know this has been bitting me for quite some time now.
Thanks

Re: Cyclonus, Scourge and the Sweeps
No, I wouldn't call them seekers I'd just call them Sweeps or Galvatrons Armada. Besides they don't have the Seeker body type.

Re: Cyclonus, Scourge and the Sweeps
Good question, chiko!
The most general term for them would be sweeps, since it covers the most members.
But technically leaves out Cyclonus & Scourge.
Galvatron's lieutenants leaves out the sweeps!
And Armada was only Cyclonus's sweep clone, so that don't work either!

Re: Cyclonus, Scourge and the Sweeps
I think I found something that describes what a seeker is.

BTW, the term Sweeps only applied to Scourges clones. Cyclonus's clones were called his armada, so I don't think they'd be called seekers.
But of course the comics may contradict this.

Re: Cyclonus, Scourge and the Sweeps
Hmmm, I consider Cyclonus to be the "leader" of the new wave of Decepticon airforce, and Scrouge to be his immediate next in command, but still consider Scrouge a Sweep only because he shares the same body styling as the rest of the Sweeps.

Re: Cyclonus, Scourge and the Sweeps
No. Cyclonus, Scourge and the rest of the unnamed Sweeps are not Seekers. They have never been referred to as Seekers in any written literature or lore that I've seen. Cyclonus has no "sub-group" to categorize him with other than that he commands the Sweeps, simple as that.

Re: Cyclonus, Scourge and the Sweeps
I just refer to them as Galvatrons Armada, Minions of Unicron
