Re: Which 3rd Party Dinobots are you collecting?

Been sort of considering the FP line. Dinobots are sort of weird in that they start to look really good as a group. Maybe that's some left over programming from G1 stuck in my brain.

FansToys for my MP collection, and FansProject Exo Realm for my CHUG.

If I had infinite budget, I'll get all :P

I don't care about the combiner gimick some of the companies are dong. Also Im not made of money and I'm OK with mixing and matching. That's why I'm using a Hasbro grimlock for my Dino team display.

So no 3rd party grimlock for me.

Re: Which 3rd Party Dinobots are you collecting?

FansToys for my MP collection as well, though as much as I love Scoria and Soar, for some strange reason Sever has not really grabbed my attention like their first 2 dinobots did. But GigaPower's Guttur isn't really doing it for me either. Maybe I'm just not Snarl fan but it's hard for me to decide if I pick up Sever or not. I've never been one to get a piece solely for the sake of completing a set, but it feels wrong to have gone this deep in MP dinos and not do it.

As for CHUG, I've been all-in with Planet-X so far, though I did pick up FansProject's Cubrar as the aesthetic matches pretty well, I think. I will have to wait to see review and colored productions of PX's Quirinus, but Cubrar is a good stand-in Slag for now. Hell, I may even keep him as a 6th dinobot, he's just THAT good to me with how bulked up he looks.

I was leaning towards Planet X but after seeing Muddy on display at A3U I'm thinking about going with ToyWorld.

Re: Which 3rd Party Dinobots are you collecting?

FP dinobots for my CHUG collection.

I'd love to also buy FT or Giga's MP style ones, but I can't get my brain around $1200+ for the 5 Dinobots. Part of my overall reluctant decision to cut my MP collecting down to only select figures due to cost - I now allocate for $300-$400 in MP a year and this year that's Appolyon, Tracks, and Wardog.

300-400 a year well hopefully there are not to many releases that you want cause that budget can go with in a figure or 2
