Well don't take my word for it just yet. Just check out the video. Might want to wait for more comparison videos and pictures to come out. It's not too long now.
Also besides the gold, I think the greys are slightly different between Hasbro and Takara MP Grimlock. It's so hard to tell from that video because they have supersaturated lighting conditions. But I do believe there is a difference. I posted a few comparison pics here.

For those interested, here's a review of the toy by Optibotimus.

There are comparisons to MP Grimlock in the video too.

Re: Fan Toys FT-04 Scoria
It looks okay but I'm not a fan of the dino mode. In my eyes the back end tapering off looks weird and the fore and rear legs being approximately the same length ... no.
It looks nice and will be a great display piece but I'll wait and see what the other groups come out with.

Awesome. The sooner I get it, the better. But if it's delayed, I'll live. At least I'm guaranteed one.

Re: Fan Toys FT-04 Scoria
In my lust over/quest to obtain Scoria a question popped up in my mind: Is FT planning to do all the Dinobots? I know there are other 3P MP Dinobots hitting the market but Quakewave's (and likely Scoria's) build quality is very impressive and I'd like my MP Snarl, Sludge and Swoop to come from the same pedigree.
Anyone in the know?

I know what you mean, I feel the same way. FT has already previewed Swoop. However, there has not been any word on Snarl and Sludge as far as I know.
