Aren't they already G1 based?

No.
Their Robot Modes are quite fine and heavily G1 based. Their alt-modes are different with homages to G1.

G1 Kup is a Cybertronian vehicle, in Generations he's an old earth pickup truck.

G1 Scourge is a sky-sled, Generations= a stealth bomber.

OH! Right, I honestly forgot they looked different in the G1 cartoon, been a while since I have seen it.

Hmm.... the main stumbling block for Scourge is the wings. And the paint deco. Other than that, he's pretty much set. The MasterShooter's Targetmaster even already can attach to his head in vehicle mode.

As for Kup, that'll take a bit of work. Styrene, putty, paint, glue, etc. and to still make him transformable.... eek. But still do-able. From Earth style pickup to Cybertronian style pickup could work. Just be sure to include a Targetmaster port on the pickup's deck, a spot for Shot-Piece.

Not necessary. The Hasbro head is already very G1.

Thanks Shepp!
I think I'll do without the Targetmaster ports for now.

Keep the suggestions coming!
