How does TRU still not understand why they need a "one per customer" policy?

The one here did when Soundwave came out last year. They were reluctant to sell me two when they first got them in until I explained I was buying one for myself and one for my disabled friend. I tried buying the other two they had for other board members but they wouldn't sell them to me.

They had a lot more than 6 at one point, but TZ and I were told that the remainders couldn't be sold until the 27th or some bullshit, and they they were being kept in the back until then. I picked up a couple for us before that happened tho so we lucked out, and I guess so did others later on hah. Really hope the person who bought 5 isn't selling them online for mad profit, but its not like we're gonna get anywhere by abstractly yelling at them from behind a keyboard, so...

Re: Transformers Masterpiece Grimlock Released at Canadian Retail
Mine has finally shipped this morning. First to order, last to ship, that makes no sense. What makes it better is I'm going on vacation tonight for a week.

Re: Transformers Masterpiece Grimlock Released at Canadian Retail
Just received Hasbro Grimmy, part of that Thorndale hoard.
The box artwork is nice, the red and white is nice like a reverse autobot symbol.
They used the pics of the original Hasbro Grimlock cause those paint apps are definitely missing.
The light grey body and green plastic is a little off-putting.
Knee joints are so stiff I'm afraid of snapping it off, hip joints could be tighter. Tail parts in the feet that swivel are super loose. Paint apps a little sloppy.
Dino mouth gimmick doesn't work very well.
Not trying to bash this but I kinda just get a cheap feel compared to the other MP's.
Having had the Takara version since it first came out this honestly feels like a KO version.

Re: Transformers Masterpiece Grimlock Released at Canadian Retail
Finally received my Grimlock shipment this morning from Purolator. When I saw a big dent in the middle of the shipping box I was worried. Thank goodness both sides had big plastic bubble wraps protecting the box inside .

Re: Transformers Masterpiece Grimlock Released at Canadian Retail
Got my Grimlock at Thronhill TRU today. There were 3 left still with damaged boxes. One of them had a hole ripped in the middle of the box.
Agree with how tight the knees are. Certainly wouldn't want to snap those joints.
