The price has been set, But he told not to say anything about it yet. I saw the price while he was lookng it up and it will be significantly cheaper than TOYSRUS.

So now that I know the Takara version has:

- Better paint
- New individual weapons
- Devastator head gimmick for the visor
- Scrapper & Longhaul get proper elbows
- Mixmaster & Hook get better elbows
- Bonecrusher and Scavenger have better knees

It's pretty clear to me I will be getting this version.

Is there a side by side comparison pic of Tak vs Hasbro yet? The SDCC one is not selling me with the faded purple chrome. But that might just be flash effect.

I guess the new elbows and knees don't matter if one was to keep them in combined mode?
I'm sure Reprolables will come out with a set to improve the paint apps of Hasbro Devastator..
