Doesn't mean it will happen, Orci has said in the past he'd like to see these characters in the movie-verse but they know for the sake of realism Unicron and the Dinobots just wouldn't work.

All Michael Bay has to say is no and it won't happen.

Actually, Unicron has come up many times in discussion with the filmmakers ever since the first movie just started production. But Dinobots are doubtful.

Why can't they make Dynobots or make the Dinobots similar to Ravage and Scorponok? If the general public can buy minion scorpion robots and minion jaguar/panther robots why the hell couldn't they buy minion dinosaur robots? What's so hard about that? Treat them like in Animated where they rarely transformed and only Grimlock apparently could talk. I mean it's not like they can't pull that off.

Or make them the Dynobots from the comics, hell with Megatron, The Fallen and others having Cybertronian modes it wouldn't be hard for Grimlock and crew to have Cybertronian modes too as a sort of 'we don't need to blend in, we're the Dynobots.' thing.

See, for some reason they allow a mechanical scorpion for Scorponok and a mechanical animal-thing for Ravage in the Movieverse, I don't see why they couldn't have other animal-ish forms.

Just have Grimlock's Cybertronian "T-Rex" mode be some generic bipedal dino-shaped skeletal animal bot. He could even throw some cars and stuff around in that mode before converting to a more common Earth form.

Having the Dinobots, or Dynobots as a group might be a little more difficult, but I could see having one (Grimlock) work pretty well. Just treat the character like Conan. I always saw Grimlock fitting the archetype of Conan the Barbarian, and the Movieverse could use a "pound it until it stops moving" kind of Autobot to liven things up.

Or just have the Autobots build them like in the cartoon.

They should create the Dinobots the same way they were created in Animated.

And I for one want to see Unicron. Would make for an apocalyptic finale.
