The class is 3rd year Microeconomic theory, which can be incredibly boring math if you've got a prof who can't make it relatable to real life. That's probably what they meant.

As for Millennials... well keep in mind that most people on this board are probably millennials. Heck, I am, and I'm in my early 30s!
At least your students feel at ease enough with you to give somewhat humorous feedback though it's that disrespect for all the "dick" profs that grates on me. I'm a proud Gen-Xer and my parents taught me that I was NOT special, didn't know SHIT, and should respect my elders until I had some life experience under my belt.

Luckily in my line of work I get to let young people do it "their" way and cackle with glee as they fuck stuff up. I also get to offer jobs to the ones that listen to what I tell them and build on what I know rather than starting from scratch all the time.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

You make good points but I never would have posted the comment if it didn’t have the “washed up, lethargic dick” bit. A catch-22, really. Posting “he’s very good at his job” comments isnt nearly as much fun.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

If you're in your 30s, you're barely a millennial.

By definition your formative years were not in the new millennia.

Wow lots of BCIT grads here. BCIT Class of '98, but I got there later in life.

I'm old enough to know youth is wasted on the young.

Vancouver Comic and Toy Show is this Sunday. If anyone has a booth can you tell me if you are selling lots of Star Wars Black Series figures in boxes?

I couldn’t make it, how was the show? Did you find the Star Wars figures you were looking for?

P.S. I did not go to BCiT
