Re: KO vs YOTH MP-10
I have MP-10, Hasbro TRU Prime, and YOTH TRU Prime. Honestly, there is no difference in quality between the three IMO. The joints are the same, no extra looseness with YOTH Prime.
If you cannot afford the MP-10 or the first Hasbro version, you should definitely get the YOTH Prime when the pre-orders show up again on the Toys 'R Us website. The gold is not noticeable unless you're anal, in general, about everything.
KOs will never substitute for the real deal IMHO.

Not always true. KFC for example.

Agree, but I can live with a couple.

Re: KO vs YOTH MP-10
Thanks to everyone who responded. Since TRU has the YOTH back in stock, I decided to get him for now.
I may decide to sell the trailer part so just PM me if interested.

Re: KO vs YOTH MP-10
Nice pics.. but no one really answered which is KO and which is real. I have neither and can't tell.
To me , the one on the right looks like KO, as the grill below the front windows do not line up.
And the one on the left has more paint apps.. can a KO have better paint job that the real version?
Of course , I'd need to handle it to be able to determine the quality of the plastic. But both look good and almost identical except for the paint apps.
regards,
jtkv

Re: KO vs YOTH MP-10
My bet is the one on the right is authentic. This thread recently revealed that the window wipers on MP10 are indeed moveable. I tried it on my TRU MP10 and Takara MP10B and it's true but they are hella hard to pull out. I'd bet the wipers are easier to move on the KO due to mold degradation or inferior plastic. Also the yellow marker lights on the top of the cab on the right match my TRU MP OP whereas the KO uses a more muted almost faded orange. The matte plastic on the right (not the shinier plastic on the left) matches the look of authentic plastic, and as far as I know Takara MP10/Hasbro MP OP nor MP10B have the silver paint apps on the step ladder and such.

Re: KO vs YOTH MP-10
I believe the one to the left is KO and the one to the right is the authentic Hasbro MP10. Takara MP-10 does not have painted headlights. But the KO does have more paint apps then the authentic if I am correct.

Re: KO vs YOTH MP-10
Please don't play this "I believe that the one on the R/L..." nonsense. Most of you folks already know which one is the genuine and which is the KO. I'll admit the KO does have MORE paint apps, so what? We cannot compare the scale that Hasbro/Takara works at to the handful that the KOs have to make. Still it isn't a good excuse for Hasbro or Takara to skimp on the paint job. For the people who don't have the G1 coloured Optimus Prime masterpiece 2.0 don't get desparate its not like Hasbro or Takara has lost the original mold like the G1 dinobots that you need to go and get the KO. Patience is a virtue my fellow collectors.

Re: KO vs YOTH MP-10
Hey Grizzly have you tried either seibertron.com or tfw2005.com toy gallery. I think both sites added this figure to their gallery a few days ago. Their camera image quality will be good enough to differentiate the two figures in great detail.
