Storage options....
I'm only a casual collector... In fact I hadn't collected any new Transformers since 2011 until Combiner Wars came out last year...
Anyways as I mentioned I'm a casual collector... I display my CW stuff at home, and have most of my other older stuff on my desk at work as I strangely find transforming them while I'm working with customers to be relaxing.
I've decided though I might want to bring some of my CW stuff to work though and pack up my Generations for the time being, but not being hardcore I didn't keep any of my old boxes... Any advice for storage options other than throw them all in a box loose?

Re: Storage options....
Ziploc baggies are a good idea. Then put them in a sealable rubber made container. No crack in the bottom to lose little items through and no figures can get hooked through others or scratch each other.
And you can store misc weapons or extra bits qith the corrosponding figures so nothing gets misplaced.

Re: Storage options....
That's how I store my stuff. Medium sized ziploc "storage" or "Freezer" bags are the ones I use, as I find they are thicker than the standard "sandwich" bag. If you have a superstore near you the Presidents Choice medium storage bags are excellent and they don't have any off putting odour either as some cheaper brands sometimes do.

And they have large ones that can hold a good meaty voyager scale figure quite well.

Re: Storage options....
I think that discussion really only applies over longterm storage in a variable temperature area. If you store them away in a sealed container not b in the sun snd definately not the shed or a damp basement you should be fine. I stored energon and armada and lego figires for over a decade with no ill effects. Just make sure the bags arent damp or reused from food use when you put them away.

Re: Storage options....
Thank You all very much. These are all good options I was considering. Knowing that it works well for others I will likely take this route.

Just wanted to add that it would be a good idea to include the instructions as well so that when you take them out of storage in the future everything is complete.

Re: Storage options....
Injection foam moldings. Think the cop car in Demolition Man.
Stuff all the weapons into the appropriately sized condom and stuff them into the injection mold. They will be safe. FOREVER.
If not, you could live with little plastic baggies and tuperware bins... if you could even call that living.
