I've done that...and the funny thing is I can't even remember which one I accidentally duplicated. It doesn't happen often, but it has happened.
I see most everyone opens things as soon as they get them. I don't so that's part of the issue...
Now my collection is getting pretty big (1500+) and back-collecting is where I made the mistake, so I'm getting better about keeping my weopons/wants list up to date. ;-)

It only happened once. I forgot with Cybertron Minicon 2-packs I had....... that's about it, and considering my collection....... I am a little shocked myself that is the only time.

With so many Transformers I sometimes (when trying to upgrade or pick up a missing acc..) loose track of the piece/part and on ocassion bought one I already have,.. variations are a problem as the collection (mostly stored) is difficult at present to find a specific piece sometimes to check /compare hopefuly this will be rectified in the near future

I have not had that problem as of yet and am kind of surprised since I just passed the 1400 mark but I'm sure it is bound to happen sooner or later!

Everything I've got is on display somewhere, so it's not really possible for me to forget what I've got. I see my entire collection daily.
