Re: Brave Maximus Questions

yes its sad to say but it looks like it will continue to go up in price with the grand&fort max pieces being mostly out of reach (mib or loose) price wise most have started to grab brave max (same mold) and that is what is currently driving the price up there are some reasonable pieces out there still just takes some time to locate with a little luck throwen in, one positive thing is he will not suffer the yellowing white like his two forbarers.

Re: Brave Maximus Questions

Why o Why wasn't I collecting back in 2000...Oh yeah I was buying DVDs and Video games at the time.. =)

Anyway, the auction just ended with a final of $540 US plus $40 shipping. So near $600 shipped for one MIB.

I'll have to keep an eye about and keep some notes so I can see how prices go. That could be interesting in itself.

Why do Reprolables retire sets?? Don't they print to order??

I have a small list of labels I want to fix up my G1s. But some of their sets are pretty pricey. If I remember Tryptcons comes to mind. I can imagine what the Brave Max set must have sold for.

Yes, and I agree with what others have said. In city mode he looks like a night time scene. Which looks much cooler to me personally.

If you want to keep track of past prices on ebay. The advanced search has a checkbox for Completed listings. That way you have an idea how the prices fluctuated.

Don't pay more then 500, SPECIALLY if it's the Korean one.

There is a good point that didn't click when I was thinking about it. Go for a Korean release if they are cheaper.

Re: Brave Maximus Questions

I'd settle for a barebones Fort Max body with just his big head these days, and then work on creating custom replacement parts for him. I don't need original/completeness, I just want a big freaking city Transformer.

The bigger the TF the bigger/more stickers it uses, thusly using a larger sticker sheet.

Personally I find their prices pretty reasonable. My only gripe is having to pay in US dollars to a Canadian company.

IIRC, the Brave Max set wasn't the whole set that you would get for Fort/Grand Max, just the stickers that it was missing, colour matched to Brave Max's colour scheme.

What is it about the Korean one that makes it less valueable? Fewer accessories? Different colors?

I own the Korean one and am not sure what I'm missing out on...
