Transformers Tuesday ? Legacy Leader Galvatron ?Clean? Deco Confirmed

Via the Transformers Facebook page, Hasbro has a new official reveal for us on this Transformers Tuesday, that being Legacy Leader Galvatron! This figure was actually first seen back at the very end of last year in a series of Legacy stock photos, and one thing many people noticed was the lack of “battle damage” deco that was present on the Kingdom version. It's good for those who missed fixed shoulders Galvatron, but with price hikes paying more for figure with less paint apps is just hilarious.

Glad I didn't pick up Galvatron yet, so I might bite on this "clean" version if I find it on sale somewhere.


I can't wait to see the inevitable swap where someone returns their dirty Kingdom Galvatron in a Legacy box so they get the clean version without putting out anymore money.

Just goes to show that you should never buy a figure unless it's exactly what you want. This isn't 2008 anymore, gone are the days when any given character would only get one Classics/Universe/Generations figure and you'd have to take what you can get. If a figure for a character you want has noticeable flaws, just wait and before long there'll be a new version.

Definitely gonna happen and Hasbro has themself to blame for that.

I remember back then people all wanted different version of a mold that has been repaint/battle damage,etc. I guess not the case anymore looking at hasbro jacking up their price by so much. It now backfires them, nobody will want two of the same mold with and without battle damage these days.

Completely your call. I got the fixed shoulders with battle damage from Gamestop with edge discount. The battle damage don't bug me but I know others prefer clean version. I'm just dismayed at the price hikes. Toysrus charging $85 for leader class is just dumb. Faced with that I'm ok with my battle damage.
