Earthrise Smokescreen - Is that face disturbing?

I was lucky to have found a decent box of ER Smokescreen, but the more I look at it's face, the more I want to return him.

The face of his ER version is just plain white and flat, with no details unlike his Siege version.

The Siege Smokescreen has a silver face with small details by the bottom of both cheeks which in my opinion, makes it a more realistic robot face.

Earthrise Smokescreen's face seems as if he decided to Michael Myers for this chapter.

No. It's specific to his unique cartoon model and I like it. it is very rare smokescreen is more than just a repaint of prowl.

In Season 2 of the cartoon, Floro Dery the designer got very lazy and designed a ton of robots with derpy faces like Smokescreen and Grapple.

He looks worst than a Cyberverse.. so he's a 100% skip for me...

The white face is the worst part of him for me... then the cheap wheel mushroom pegs, then the overall design and colours, the transparent legs thing... he just looks "off" to me.

The other datsuns look 100x better, but still, not enough to swing me away from the Siege versions at all.

The earthrise Datsun bots are far superior to the siege ones, the legs feel so cheap on the siege versions compared to the earthrise.

While the legs of their Siege counterparts had thin legs, Earthrise went with hollow feet. The way they are shaped seems to invite stress marks.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who found Smokescreen's the face was weird. It might've helped if the face had an expression like the Seeker heads.

Yep. I think I’m sticking with Siege Bluestreak, CW Prowl, and ER Smokescreen.

Might go for ER Prowl, but yeah the Siege Bluestreak will stay in alt mode most of the time

Re: Earthrise Smokescreen - Is that face disturbing?

I just saw ER Barricade's face. It is the same face as Smokescreen but gold colored. It does not look "derpy" compared to Smokescreen.

Thank you for your opinions. Looks like I will be selling Smokescreen now, but Barricade is a want for me.

Was on the fence to get him, and seeing the face in-person, didn't help the argument to buy (imo)
