TFTM : Ironhide (Generation 1 style)

...for a recent commission. He's got a 'near' scratch built G1 head in there
Quite happy with the red, it's got a nice metallic and pearl sheen to it. Exhaust pipes were from an antenna. Client wanted a nice G1 gold stripe, I thought I'd make that a little more modern and added the fadeout back to red.

I really like what you did to this guy...the paint app is right on the money in my books and the stripe suits the alt mode very well (I passed on the red stripe on my Ironhide v.2). The head Im still on the fence whether it suits the mold or not but if your're happy and the commisioner is happy then it's all good.

Great paint job, love the added details. He looks fantastic in his G1 red. The head, yeah...it's strange on a movie bot body to see such a G1, or classics style head...but kudos on it, it's a great looking head. Will you be offering castings like you do for motormaster?

That IS Ironhide. If the movie Ironhide looked like this I would be buying him.
