Re: Hidden Transformation points
@brr-icy,
Yeah, you're actually suppose to do that as part of the transformation from Longarm to Shockwave, but it's not mentioned in the instructions.

Re: Hidden Transformation points
The extending bits on TM Cheetors thrusters. Hmm, almost an innuendo there, "extending thrusters".
There's also another TF I see people review all the time and they always manage to mistransform it. Just can't remember which one it is. Damn, that's gonna bug me all day.

Re: Hidden Transformation points
I was mucking around with Blazemaster last night, and he has a crap load of pin joints in his central body that, honestly, I can't tell what they're for. There's just a whole bunch of them. It also looks like his shoulders are supposed to clip around his backpack strut, which holds him together really nicely, but the instructions don't really clearly show that.
Actually, come to think of it, I think Blazemaster has some of the worst instructions I've seen in a long time. [Although reverse-transforming Animated Shockwave was very difficult the first time... his instructions and how he was packaged don't match, and that's the first time I've ever had to do that. What a bother.]

Really?? I've had that figure twice and never noticed.
Tons of steps/features are left out from instructions on modern Transformers. Hasbro said in the last Q&A that they want to give the fans little surprises here and there but that's BS to me.

Haha, bad try Hasbro.
Who do they think they're foolin? It's poor quality control, that's what.
It happened with G1 as well, but it's even more now.
