no comics in Zellers comic 2 packs?

I just opened 1 each of the Transformers Universe Zellers exclusive 2-packs, and noticed that there (despite saying it on the front "includes comic") were no comic in either box.

Has anyone else noticed this or did I get them out of a defective lot?

Yup, it seems they took the comics out for the release here in Canada. The missing comics have been discussed in this thread already:
