Masterpiece Megatron V2 Official Images
New images have surfaced online for Masterpiece Megatron V2 from Takara Tomy. In it we get to see some new angles and poses and a full accessory list, which includes: an energon mace, a laser sword, 86 movie accurate pistol, 3 alternate faces, a cracked chest, a key to Vector Sigma, and the control helmet from G1 episode A Prime Problem. Not to mention a fully functioning cannon get up using his scope and arm brace like the G1 toy did. Check out the shots after the break!

Re: Masterpiece Megatron V2 Official Images
he looks AMAZING...no...PERFECT!
Not sure if I can justify the price though... $229 Us + shipping + exchange. Yikes!

Re: Masterpiece Megatron V2 Official Images
Well I got a better idea of how his transformation works so all good there. Steeper price for sure but if release date holds up this will be my bday gift to myself lol. Must have

Re: Masterpiece Megatron V2 Official Images
This guy wins for legs, face, and hands (oh, those hands are absolute perfection). His poseability looks great, too, but the jigsaw puzzle chest and the hollow/folded up arm panels offset the goodness for me.
I'm stoked that so many people are pumped to get this guy, and the accessory kit looks hugely badass, but he's not going to replace my Mightron. In my eyes, Mightron is cleaner, smoother, and MUCH more affordable.
Looking forward to handling one of these in-person one day, but don't plan on pulling the trigger (groan) on this for my collection.

Re: Masterpiece Megatron V2 Official Images
I don't think I remember Megatron ever quite making that face.
It looks pretty good, but I can't get it up for a gun-former. I'm all about the Tyrantron.

Re: Masterpiece Megatron V2 Official Images
Why are people "shocked" about the price? MP Meg should be priced at least the same as MP-10's MSRP of ¥20,000 before 8% domestic sales tax.
