2013 hotel question

Since our kids were so good with my mom watching them for our first overnight trip without them in 6.5 years, my wife suggested the two of us go to TFcon for my Father's Day gift. I was looking at the hotel link from tfcon.ca and was wondering what the diff is between the north and south tower (besides compass direction). Is the convention hall under one of the two or do most TFcon attendees book one over the other?

Re: 2013 hotel question

Doesn't really make a difference, attendees fill both. They're equidistant to the convention center and more importantly the bar

Re: 2013 hotel question

The convention space is beside the north tower. I stayed in the north tower last year. It was abit of a trek to the convention space. Indoors though, just had to go down a hallway, past the pool, post the lobby and around the corner.

I forget which one is north and which one is south, but they are basically just as far...one might be 10 steps further than the other, which is really insignificant given the distance to the convention space.

As GMFan says, it doesn't make a difference. Although probably people who have been in the same tower for two years might opt to stay in that same tower again out of habit.

Oh, and last year there was an Indian wedding party staying in one of the towers. I felt badly for them having all these transformer fans wandering around.

But they seemed quite accepting. At least I noticed it when cosplaying Sunstreaker.
