Another 3rd party Astrotrain? I just want one of these 3rd parties to remold him as the BttF part 3 train. The time machine one, I mean. Not the one that crashed. Then they'll have my money.

This looks much nicer than it did in some of the earlier images I've seen.

This is the one I've been waiting for. Looks cheap quality but I don't care. He's worthy to be in my Astrotrain shelf.

This one is classics scale so this is the one I'll be picking up above all others.

I really don't like those trains' wheels, looks too fake. It's directly painted on a thin plastic panel, it seems like this company are not even trying hard to make it make it look impressive. I probably skip this unless it's very cheap.

I read somewhere on TFW that this one's supposed to be about Voyager sized, so hopefully he measures up well with Generations Blitzwing.

Having said that, THIS is the Astrotrain I've been waiting for. Chigurh just didn't have the right aesthetic - train was too futuristic looking, shuttle mode was too fat for its wings, and their bot mode seemed too lanky in the legs in my eyes. Evilastar/Devilstar had great shuttle and train modes (admittedly better than Machine Boy's version here), but the scale was too large for my taste - I have no interest in an MP-sized Astrotrain (same argument goes for Chigurgh) so I'm definitely glad some 3rd party out there is still showing some love for those of us that still collect CHUG-scaled figures.

Despite the fake train wheels and boxy shuttle, the bot mode is great compared to the other 2 and the scale I prefer. Hope the reviews are promising.
