Transformers 5 - Robots to take Center Stage

What do think about this

‘The report is, that it would be robots taking the center stage in the next “Transformers” movie.

Reports also have it that humans will just be in the sidelines in the upcoming movie, which seems to be consistent with previous reports that “Transformers 5” will be set in the home planet of the Creator, which could be Quintesson or early Cybertron or?.

Don't know how solid this video is but I'm gonna post it anyway as it seems pretty legit:

If this is true, I will be happy.

Although I'm likely to see the movie regardless..

They should take the '86 movie and go live action with that.

At this point, the franchise really can say whatever it wants: I won't believe them. AOE was quite forgettable, yet they boosted the hype machine quite a bit. But the movie made a shitload of money worldwide...meaning, we're going to be getting more or less the same kind of movie. I'll watch it, but by no means will it be a priority.

I'm still getting enough enjoyment factor out of them to keep watching, although I prefered DOTM over AOE, Not a big fan of the "TRANSFORMIUM" and they seemed to skimp (blur) on the regular transformation process too.

Re: Transformers 5 - Robots to take Center Stage

And the same terrible toy as last time... Can't we at least get some new aesthetic to keep it fresh?!

Last time I bought three AOE toys: Scorn, Snarl and Drift. Drift is pretty good, his transformation actually uses the car mode parts to make parts of the robot (it's not a mess of panels and shell bits) and the robot itself looks solid. Snarl is a solid B that looks pretty cool until you start trying to make him take action pose with his weapon since he has the friggin' iron curler arm... like every Primus forsaken Dinobot in this line... seriously what was up with those stupid arms not being able to whack people with their melee weapon correctly?!

And Scorn... Scorn was a mistake and I hate his hip assembly.

As long as Bay is involved, it's a strong pass from me. I tapped out after the second abomination and I haven't looked back. The toys are awful, too.
