Cheap Alternative for Detolf Risers

So i Was at the Dollar store over the weekend and found these drawer organizers they are 1.00 each



I bought 3 in total to make risers from 2 i taped together but since it looks good i'm gonna need to find some time to glue them together



so here it is with the risers in


and the final product with second and third shelf with the risers. total cost 3.00 plus tax. now i just need to buy 6 more detolfs full of these.

the dollar store.. that's the name of it. it's a franchise or chain. yeah. my wife pointed it out to me

the one across the street from my house on mccowen and finch and scarborough town centre has them so i believe all dollar stores do.

i didn't take exact measurements but maybe less then an inch in from each side of the glass.

I thought about doing that when I saw them in stores too. Nice to know my idea would have worked. Guess I should revisit this idea. Only reason I didn't buy them was because of how busy The Dollar Store was. Didn't feel like waiting in line for 20min for a few bucks.
