Get rid of animated and the Disney formers.

By the way, do you mean the old line from the early 2000's, or the new classics based ones? If it's the old ones, sell'em off.

If you're still unsure, try the box idea.

Use the two step program. First, take whatever you aren't super attached to and box it up. Stick it under a bed, in a closet, in the basement; whereever. See how you feel after a month or so of it not being around. If you find yourself wanting to look at it, then no sale my friend. If you really don't care, then start up a sales thread. That's what I did.

I agree with the box them up Idea once there gone there gone and you may change your attitude towards them once they are so,... don't be in a rush to part with them unless you are sure that you are done with those lines.

Re: Selling off part of my collections.. should I, or shouldn't I

I would say the Disney stuff could go.

Animated? Personally i have an attachment to them because it was the return of the US Tf series. I also love how they look like nothing before them but are still cleary Hasbro Transformers.

If you have no attachment to them and don't care how unique they are to every other TF series then sell em. This series will be like BW in the fact that they will always be special to a group of the fandom.

Universe? If it is the new universe and not the gaudy repaints from the past then I would hold on to them. These things will always be worth more than retail and will probably keep going up in price. If you sell these and want them back they will be expensive to replace.

So if you want space I assume selling the disney won't give you much so dip into Animated, I would hold off on Universe, and this from a guy that would let go of Universe before Animated (But I loved the series.)

I'd box them up and put them into storage. Who knows, you may want to revisit them, or even find new room for them, in the future. I recently boxed up all my Beast Wars, Movie and AEC lines (just yesterday in fact) because of room.

A long time ago I simply got rid of figures I no longer wanted/had room for. Years later, the regret reared it's head. I have since re-bought some of these...
