Re: Amazon.ca Transformers Sightings

Apologies for posting this here, but just in case it helps anyone. I saw a price drop on MP-46 Blackarachnia from Amazon Japan, ends up being around $100 USD shipped to Canada.

Well, damn. That's 1,500 yen less than I paid when I preordered MP-46 last year.

I was looking at the base price, but I didn't add it to my cart to see the shipping. I guess that's where the difference comes from.

The price wasn't there for long I guess. When I placed my order it came to a total of around 11K yen. I guess I'll see if it gets cancelled or if they honor it.

Does Amazon Japan sell the LG42 Godbomber? Is it difficult to have items sent to Canada? Sorry for the questions, never knew you could get things from them before or how to search their site. Thanks.

They do have it:

https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B01MYW8W..._-JTeEbV049KC5

Honestly though, it is a crappy figure. The plastic used on God Bomber is very thin and brittle (transforming the figure causes stress marks). In both robot and alt mode, the pieces tend to fall apart due to the design (the majority of the pieces don't tab in securely). When combined with Super Ginrai, the combined figure can barely stand up due to the hollow legs and loose joints on both Ginrai and Godbomber. You should go with a 3rd party Ginrai/Godbomber set like the one made by Fans Hobby or the Maketoys version.

If a said item is shipped and sold by Amazon Japan they will most likely ship it outside of Japan. There were cases that didn’t but so far nothing TF wise AFAIK. But Marketplace sellers mostly are not.

Have been shopping there for a while on everything from CD, magazine, manga, TFs, SoC, ... etc

Re: Amazon.ca Transformers Sightings

Thanks for your advice guys...considering its not a great figure, what do you think a good price for it would be from Amazon Japan...and how does their shipping work outside of Japan to Canada? You pay Amazon Japan direct or do you have to use a 3rd party seller and shipper?

No, everything is done through Amazon Japan.
No extra surprise customs charges or anything, either.

I’ve ordered a few MP’s from them now. Super fast shipping, too.
