Given the current toy market, and the vacuum that would be created if TRU disappeared in Canada before Christmas, I would be surprised if we will see significant changes before the holidays. That said, the omens are not propitious.

TRU isn't going anywhere before 2018 so don't worry about the holiday season.

Look what happened with Sears this year and Toys R Us is in a much better position than they are in regards to retail presence and customer visits.

Oh totally, hence what I was getting at. All I am saying is that instead of it being gradual, TRU going under would just bring us much quicker to the eventuality you described. Personally, I much preffer having 5 $20 deluxes than 1 $100 MP, but thats jut me.

TRU's strength and weakness to my diagnosed hobby is that it is a general store that applies to the wide public, and not my narrow needs. It means that it occasionally surprises me, but mostly I go to browse everything else.
