You're not weird. I also like the IDW stuff much more than any of the others.

After re-reading it yet again, the DW artwork was great when the characters were posing and standing still but the action shots were generally poorly done. In fact, it seemed like every month thier artists or writers were on the DW boards explaining what exactly happened in the issue. My favorite example was the end of issue 5 of the first series...

The War Within series were strong with great artwork though.

The original UK and Marvel runs will always be some of my favorite comic work as well.

Amazon.ca also sells trade paperbacks as well, and at some competitive prices as well (sometimes).

I get all of my trades from Amazon. Even though my local comic shop switched their pricing to the US prices, this is still a better deal. I usually wait and order enough to get the shipping discount as well.
