Re: What type of collector are you?

Classics and masterpieces only, due to space and the girlfriend complaining how I waste my money on them. Haha

Re: What type of collector are you?

Mostly just the Classics stuff that really interests me, or if I see something in an altmode that is just too cool to pass up (I'm particularly fond of Industrial Revolution-WWII era vehicles!).

Re: What type of collector are you?

Buy what I like, but completist (or at least trying to) on Classics and Prime.

Re: What type of collector are you?

Only collect characters that have appeared in a tv show, movie or comic book. No need for fillers. Of course, everything else related to G1, G1 MP's, G1 bineltechs, classics and so on.

Re: What type of collector are you?

I pretty much buy whatever I like from each line, but prefer the Classics/Universe/Generations style to others like movie-verse or animated.

Cool Re: What type of collector are you?

Mostly G1, but I'm not one of those hardcore "G1 only" collectors, I have many figures not homaging G1 characters.

I'm also a G1 seeker fanatic.

I also mostly collect modern Deluxe-class and lower (exceptions to certain Voyager class figs), space being an issue, and I like fiddling with figures will watching TV or on the computer, so juggling a giant Leader class does not appeal to me.

Collecting is fun, no matter how you collect.

Re: What type of collector are you?

All classics scout class and larger (including MP and Reissue) except for repaints/minor remolds of a mold into a character that was not the intention of the mold (eg. Prowl into Silverstreak is good because they have the same body, Drift into Blurr is good because it's not only a new head, Darkmount into Skullgrin is bad). All Classics Minibots in Legends class. All movie figures from Scout to Leader class that were in the movies (no Cyberverse, and no repaints/remolds that are not justified by a character's change in the movie). All TF: Animated figures from Deluxe to Leader class that were in the show. I'm trying to resist TF: Prime figures so I can complete everything that I wanted but missed from the above. Also, everything is from Hasbro, I open them, transform them a few times, display them, and store the boxes away.

Re: What type of collector are you?

If it looks cool & it fits into "MY" collection I'll nab it. I do like the G1 base bots & any small TF's so that is like the new CV or the old school MM's. My ultimate plan is to make some sorta "battle scene" with an autobot city formed from different base bots on 1 side & con bases on the other with all the lil tf's either on the bases or on the battlefield in the middle. Sorry just geeked out but ya

I use to be a mould completionest. Now I'm a "buy it if it is on sale" collector...
