Cheap alternative to risers

Rather than flood the "Post Your Hauls Thread" with this. I'll just start a new thread.

Space seems to be an issue when displaying your toy collection. Risers are the best solution for getting the most out of those small spaces and cramp toys.

I always wanted to get the more expensive acrylic risers, but the price was too much to dish out. I was getting rid of last years NHL McDonalds Upper Deck cards on Ebay and after selling them all I was left with all these soap dishes some not even used.

Definately a cheap alternative to acrylic risers and you always get two for one. $1 to $3 depending on the size you want. Check out your local sports card store and you will find them in all sizes.

Also if anyone has any other alternatives please share your thoughts

Not using these for cards :P

oooh soo clear

break me off sumthin

There ya have it

Well, risers are not expensive to begin with.... But I'll admit the ferrero box is a nice idea instead of creating more pollution

4x4x4 risers are the best !

I can't find a local retailer so the soap dishes was the next best thing for me

Though the ebay link you showed could be my next best bet so i'm thinking about getting those in multiples. They have quite the variety

btw what are 4x4x4 risers? got any pics?

Re: Cheap alternative to risers

The ferrero rocher box suggestion was pretty good, too bad I only have 2 right now.

I might try all the suggestions to see which one is better for me.

By the way how much does it typically cost to ship the risers MangaSpawn? I asked the seller but he hasn't given me a response yet.

4x4x4 are the dimensions of the risers... 4 inches width x 4 inches length x 4 inches height. It's the most appopriate for McFarlane figures, so I'd assume they'd be great for Alternators. Here's a pic of standard 6 inches McF's figures (coincidentally Manga Spawn ) :

Oh my, it's been a long while I've bought those...

Heh, I just went into my paypal and found the transaction !!! They cost me 9.99 $ US + 6.35 $ US shipping. That was on october 17th, 2005 so I'm pretty sure the rates went quite up since then

They came in pack of 6 4x4x4 risers for 9.99 $ US.
