Masterpiece Starscream: Walmart vs Takara (US Version)
I did a search, but couldn't find any definite answers.
Does the US version of Takara's Starscream have the same battle damage as the Walmart version on the back in jet mode?

The Takara version also has a Decepticon insigna on the dorsal side of the cockpit nose.

I've heard that the wingtips are pointier (and more fragile) on the Takara one.

Re: Masterpiece Starscream: Walmart vs Takara (US Version)
The main difference I keep reading about is that the Hasbro version is apparently molded in white plastic based off the thicker & more sturdy MP-06 mold, whereas the Takara version is supposedly a repaint of the original MP-03 mold, which means it still feels very flimsy & fragile. And as others have already pointed out, there's a Con logo on the nosecone and the wings tips are slightly pointier on Takara's.
All in all I think the general concensus is that the Hasbro version is just as good, if not better than the Takara version, and is the overall better bang for the buck.
Originally, the main differences between the two were going to be that the Hasbro version had visible battle damage paint while the Takara version remained clean white. And then for a while there, between the release dates of Hasbro's and Takara's versions, Takara's was also going to be released in an official MP styled box. Both ideas ultimately got thrown out the window, likely due to Hasbro's version not only sweeping the market on both sides of the ocean, but also because of Takara's ongoing delays to ever get their version out. It probably made more financial sense just to take Hasbro's version, slap a Takara sticker on the box and call it a day.

i have the takara version, the wingtips are very pointy, all the details are excentuated, there's an insignia on the top of the nose, and on the sides of the nose there are crown insignias, not sure what's the same on the us version

Re: Masterpiece Starscream: Walmart vs Takara (US Version)
There is no battle damage on the Hasbro version, although I read people saying this all the time. I have it here sitting in front of me. There is a black wash on the figure, but that should not be confused with battle damage. The black wash is present to show details and, occasionally, burns around his jets and the tips of his blasters.
Other differences include different insignias, and if I'm not mistaken the Takara MP comes with stickers

The US version is just as fragile, several reports of breakage or stress at the wings. It's not better.

no stickers, but the wash is brown on the takara version, does yours have an insignia on the nose of the plane?

Does it have burn marks along the top, near the thrusters, in jet mode? Like in this pic of Walmart SS:
