To sell or not to sell (THS-02B & Binaltech Laserwave)?

I just moved from a 1300sqft bungalow into a 960sqft apartment suite so storage/display room is now at a premium. And I'm planning to buy a couple items from the TFA line (the DVD 2-pack specifically).

I've got an opened but complete black Hybrid-style Convoy/Prime with (an WST Hot Rod to match!) and and an opened but complete Binaltech Laserwave that I'm contemplating selling. I also have a 15 month old son who may or may not love them in 10 years.

Should I sell these off? Will I regret it if I do? What are these guys worth, anyways?

Your opinions are appreciated, but please remember this is not an ad to sell...just trying to make up my mind, that's all.

I would hold onto those 2 toys as they might be much tougher to replace later down the road than say, mainline Hasbro figures.

When I was 17 I donated the bulk of my toys to my church thinking some kids would love a well-worn (but complete) Optimus, Soundwave, Shockwave, talking KITT car (with Hoff action figure!!!) and tons of GI Joe figures/vehicles.

What an idiot...

Much to my wife's displeasure I've been trying to buy back what I gave away ever since!

But are Hybrid Prime and Laserwave really worth anything? Do you think, say, $100 for both is too much or too little?

i would keep the laserwave,
it is no longer available to resellers,
nor do any have any instock,
its is strictly secondary market now,
especially with the flood of knock offs.
the black ths-02b is no longer available to resellers,
but plenty of retailers still have it in stock.
the value has climb quite a bit for the laserwave,
in comparison to original retail,
while the ths-02b trades at roughly the same price as retail.
keep the wst hot rod.

THS-02 would probably cost you $65-75 plus shipping to replace, Laserwave... I don't know, the last one on Ebay sold for $90 plus shipping and some are listing right now at $100+ each.

Really??? I bought THS-02B for $60 CDN 2 years ago and it's still worth that?

As for Binaltech Laserwave he was a gift direct from Japan when he first came out. Dunno what they paid but I hope its wasn't that much...

Guess I'll have to store these guys in the rafters (or a vault somewhere).

from place like toys r us and joshin,
3990 at places like yodobashi
and softmap in bigger cities.
as high as 6000 yen in specialty shops.
when he came out exchange was
about 1.25 canadian to 100 yen.

What, no, E-hobby Hybrid Black Convoy is going to be more difficult to find down the road. It is an exclusive after all.

I haven't been able to find one for a decent price ($60-80).

I say keep them both. They are getting harder to find. but if you ever decide to sell, I'll take Prime

Really?!?!? I was never able to find it anywhere for that price. Let alone canadian!

At that price, I would have bought it for sure.
