A bit of a filler episode, but it was fun.

The episode was okay. I wasn't bouncing off the walls with excitement, and I wasn't falling asleep either.

Blurrs shape is very similar to the Speed Racer car. I can't wait to see him in bot mode.

Okay Episode. I agree with some on this thread that the "moral" was a little forced. Yes, yes, stealing cable/satellite signals is "bad", we know. Or maybe I just feel partially guilty for downloading the episode. Oh well, I'm in Canada, so it sorta okay.....

Speaking of Canada. This episode did not air on CN on the same saturday as it did on YTV (May 10). So considering that, I do not believe that they were aiming to "market" the episode for Speed Racer. I'm pretty sure that it's influenced in some way by the design, but if we start going down the list, we can probably pull up a couple of other Tfs that look like the Mach 5. I would call it a simple coincidence. I realize that Time Warner owns both WB (Speed Racer) and CN. But the designers are from Hasbro, and I don;t think they would go to this explicit length of promoting a non-related movie. Besides, they aired the Haloween episode in February....a little off schedule...

The shows's been pretty cool so far, but I feel that we are just sorta waiting for something to happen. I don't want Megatron to show up every episode, but I feel that we are lacking on some of the bigger themes that only his presence could bring.

At the same time, I will let the episode sit and ferment to see how Season 2 plays as a whole....

I thought that EP was alright. I figured that *undisclosed race car* would have identified himself sooner...but I am all for the build up.

I liked seeing BB in action and able to control his rockets. I think it shows a little bit of character development.

As for the underlying message against Signal stealing...I seemed a little forced and really not all that important to the overall scheme of things...but I guess it isn't much different that the community service blurbs that GI Joe did after the eps.

Signal stealing is bad,
