Masterpiece Jazz - VW scandal

Just throwing this out there for conversation. Do you think the Volkswagen scandal will make it easier or harder to get the rights from Porsche?

I am going to say, I hope not. The Volkswagen Group owns other marques/brands that some of the Autobots scanned other than Porsche: Lamborghini, Porsche, Volkswagen and modern vehicles: Audi, Bugatti, Ducati, etc.

So my answer is I hope not.

MP Jazz shouldn't emit any noxious vapours, but then one never knows...

If any thing, this suggests the directors like a quick buck and licensing is just when they pay to advertise your product.

So, I think it might actually help.

Why trouble yourself with something you can't control. Porsche doesn't use any of VW group's 1.6L and 2.0 L diesel engines. Besides Porsche has 100% control over it's own branding.

Gimme some Jazz ! Seriously can't believe how long this is taking ... he's a very iconic characters from G1 and unless they are having a hard time acquiring/securing the rights to the porsche design... taking a long time.

I am pretty confident that Hasbro/Takara will get us a G1 Jazz sometimes down the road. I still remember I was so excited when they announced RTS Jazz, which I still enjoy this figure a lot. Thanks Hasbro for giving me such a great figure for Jazz. I still play around with that figure a lot and I definitely enjoy it. Now, pls give me a MP G1 Ratchet after Ironhide. I have been waiting these 2 for centuries!

The Tomy half of Takara/Tomy is the half of the company that gets licensing for it's die cast car lines which has in turn opened the door for the licensing to be branched out into the Transformers MP line since there is already a relationship in place between Licensee and the toy maker. So I'll say Jazz will come in time, just design and production will take some time.
