Not sure. I also heard that BBTS was having issues securing their stock as well. Maybe Hasbro is holding them back until Sandstorm comes out.

That said, AutomatonToys said that they bill when stock is on route to their warehouse. I was invoiced back in April. Obviously, they sent out the invoices without confirming that they were actually getting a shipment.

In addition to that is that they did not inform me that Springer was delayed. I had to email them directly when almost 2 weeks had passed and I had yet to receive a shipping confirmation. This is in essence a breach of the pre-order contract they have listed on their site. The only reason, I'm not finding them at fault is that this affected BBTS as well. They really should be confirming shipments "BEFORE" asking people to pay for an order that they cannot fulfill.

Just airing out my grievances as if I had gone with ordering from a contact in the States like I did with Blitzwing, I could have saved myself a couple of extra bucks and could have had him a while ago.

Re: Sponsor News: Automaton Toys Newsletter for May 2013

Hi everyone,

This situation is very annoying for both us, the retailers, and you the customers. As for invoicing those early: we had all the reasons to believe that our shipment was on its way to us back in April since Hasbro marked those items as "shipping next week" (back in April that is) on their updated preorder page.

We've been very surprised (and upset) to not receive the shipment as scheduled...as were most of online North American retailers. Normally, we are invoicing preordered items 7-10 days prior to their arrrival. As for Hasbro, in their typical fashion, they are not providing any update on this situation. This "crisis" is a fine reminder as to why, over the recent years, we haven't stocked many Hasbro products.

Hopefully, Springer and Blitzwing will show up in June. We want to thank you for patience and support. And again, our deepest apologies.

Regards,
Mario

Re: Sponsor News: Automaton Toys Newsletter for May 2013

I'm not worried about when it comes in or that I paid in April, that doesn't bother me. I was just curious if any news came around.
Also Mario, did you get my email about the Neca ED-209 from Robocop?
(side note: I have a friend working on the new movie and he said the new design for ED-209 is pretty badass)

Hi Mario,

Will you be getting the Hasbro Metroplex with English soundchip? I'm hoping so, since Quebec stores probably won't be stocking it.

Post deleted... I could already tell people would have taken this the wrong way and it would probably result in me getting an infraction...
