Original Character
This was a fun project for me as the base figure was actually one of my first customs from around ten years ago. I had posted him possibly here and, or seibertron then, but unfortunately don't have the original pictures of what he was. Over the years his joints failed, wings were repurposed and was once again fodder. This was also the first custom where I used my dremel tool. I only bought it a few weeks ago, and already wish I had done so years earlier.
I completely rebuilt his bicep and thigh assembly for articulation.
The folding cockpit assembly was various parts heavily modified, and still need some fine tuning. The rest is mostly garnish. Countless figures gave their parts for this production including Tankor, Jetfire, Starscream (2), Optimus, Scourge, Terrorsaur, Bumblebee, Megatron...
Through out this custom I didn't actually know what character I was building. I had War Within on the mind, a variation of Tankor, should I change the head, I even thought it might suit a revamped Macross mold. I looked around a bit, and if I could paint I would try to make this my evil twin brother of Roadbuster,
