That's what I thought too until my friend told me the comic book version of Bane and it really opened my eyes to the potential Bane brings.
Man, the hype for this movie is going to be unreal
again. I don't know how they managed to top Batman Begins with Dark Knight, and I don't know how they plan to do it again. GET HYPED 2012! GET HYPED!1!!!
Anyone find it interesting that they have clips of Begins and sound clips of Ra's Al Ghul? It's not just "we're lazy to edit new footage into the teaser" or "we don't want to show anyone anything, because it's a secret
." But that there is the possibility for Talia Al Ghul to be in the movie or a resurrected Ra's Al Ghul to "finish" what was started in Begins. (I shouldn't of gone to imdb to confirm and see the rumored possibility of a movie spoiler....
)
It's also interesting for Gorden to say "we were in this together and then you were gone" and "the BATMAN must come back." Why would Gorden address Batman in the third person if he is there in the room with him? Something about how that is worded makes me think Wayne reveals his identity to Gorden. Then again, Batman could be visiting Gorden..... Still, a interesting possibility, though unlikely.
Also, I still don't like the title. The first two titles were unique and told a story about Batman's progress in the movies. And this title does do that, but at the same time implies this is Dark Knight: Part 2, which it sorta is, but it shouldn't
PS: I kinda like Batman. Thought I've never read a comic book in my life.......
